Paying your bill
Paying by Direct Debit not only saves you time and hassle, it is also the most cost effective method for the Council.
You can now set up a new or amend an existing Direct Debit online by clicking here. If you have a joint bank account which requires more than one signature a paper instruction will need to be completed.
Payment by Debit Card

You will need to have your debit card ready and be able to quote your Account Reference. This will be shown on the front of your bill and starts with 5.
To Pay by Telephone Banking or Standing Order
You will need your Account Reference which will be shown on the front of your bill and starts with 5. Please contact the Customer Services Team on 01264 368000 and they will advise you of the Council’s bank account details for Council Tax payments.
