TOP BORDER:Tawny owl; pheasant; kingfisher; Paulet family Coat of

MIDDLE SECTION:The helicopter (top left) is from The School of Army
Aviation based at Middle Wallop airfield. The airfield building and
the red windsock can be seen on the left. At the top is Danebury
Hill Fort. Farming activities are illustrated below Danebury and
two riders are also to be seen. The building in the top right
corner is Fifehead Manor. In the centre of the panel is the parish
church of St Andrew. To the right of the church is the unusual 15
ft high pyramid memorial to Dr Francis Douce who died in 1760. The
large house to the left of the church is Garlogs. The house with
the large chimneystacks to the right of the church is the former
Wallop House. In the centre foreground is the Mill, which was in
full use as a mill and bakery until 1949. At the rear of the group
of cottages on the right is the village hall. Running across the
whole panel is the Wallop Brook with willow trees on the bank. In
the bottom left corner is Place Farm once home of the Paulets and,
more recently, of the celebrated conductor Leopold
Stokowski.
LOWER BORDER:Flora found in the locality, including wild arum,
bluebells, dandelion clocks, and foxglove. Amongst the flowers are
a rabbit and a snail.

MIDDLE SECTION: The background at the top represents farming activities,
with grazing sheep, a tractor ploughing and a cornfield. The house
in the top left corner is Blacksmiths Farm. The timber-framed and
thatched cottage in the centre is South View. Next to it is the
White Hart Inn. On the left in the next row is Forresters. The two
buildings on the other side of the War memorial are the Church Farm
barn and house. In front can be seen three of herd of Guernsey
cows, which twice a day make their slow 200-yard trek between
grazing and milking. In the bottom left corner is King's Farm. In
the centre at the bottom is St Peter's Church Hall. St Peter's
Church occupies the bottom right corner.
LOWER BORDER: This continues the Nether Wallop
theme of wild flowers found locally, with a hovering damsel
fly
