to the Initial Deposit Draft (IDD) maps – for a complete picture,
you will also need to refer to the original IDD maps)
The Test Valley Borough Local Plan 2006 was
adopted with modifications by the Council on 2 June 2006. The
plan was previously known as the Test Valley Borough Local Plan
Review.
Please note that all
Important Areas have been deleted. Safeguarding has also been
deleted with the exception of Adanac Park (STV 03).
As a result of all of the
modifications to the Plan there has been a change to some policy
numbers which is not presently reflected on the maps. If you
have not already done so, you are strongly advised to examine the
written statement of the Test Valley Borough Local Plan 2006 in
order to establish the relevant policies and proposals you are
interested in.
Step 1 – Refer to Adopted
written
statement to ascertain the current policy or proposal number
you are interested in (eg. if you are interested in frontage infill
policy areas in the countryside, the adopted policy is number SET
06)
Step 2 – Refer to the
policy conversion list to
ascertain whether the previous policy or proposal number has
changed (eg. SET 06 was previously SET 07)
Step 3 – Refer to the
modifications
schedule to ascertain whether there is one or more modification
maps relevant to the previous policy or proposal number (eg. for
SET 07 there are two modifications – one under inset map 4 Romsey
and another under inset map 43 Timsbury.) Click on the link in the
right hand column to display the map(s).
If no modification is
listed, there are no amendments to the Initial Deposit Draft maps –
proceed to Step 5.
Step 4 – Refer to
original Initial Deposit Draft 2002 maps. In our
example, for Timsbury, once the Test Valley map is loaded, choose
Romsey Area and then Timsbury Inset Map, and zoom in as
required.
