Graffiti
We follow up any reports of graffiti and ensure that it is removed by the responsible party within a reasonable timeframe.
Graffiti is a form of anti social behaviour and by ensuring its removal, we will not only be improving our local environment, but we will be improving the quality of life for many residents, reducing the fear of crime that it causes and increasing pride in the community.
The Council takes a pro-active approach to dealing with graffiti. Although the Council is not responsible for removing graffiti, we monitor the Borough and the owner of any affected property will be contacted and advised of the problem. We will also give advice on how the issue can be tackled and ultimately may serve a Graffiti Removal Notice if the responsible person fails to take action in a timely manner.
To report cases of graffiti, use the online Graffiti Report Form or alternatively contact Customer Services on 01264 368000.
