LCA2A Embley Wood and Heathland

Landscape Strategy and Guidelines

The landscape condition of Embley Wood and Heathland has been eroded over the years by a variety of human activity, but it still retains the basis of a strong and distinctive landscape pattern and a strong sense of seclusion. The overall strategy is to enhance the tranquillity and extensive wooded character and its locally distinctive features.

Avoid use of coniferous plantations and shelter belts
