Grounds Maintenance Operative £16,857 - £20,414 per annum

If you enjoy working in a customer-focussed environment, can work under your own initiative or as part of a team and are looking for a secure, challenging and worthwhile job we may have the position you are looking for.

The position is manually challenging but equally rewarding for enthusiastic and hardworking team players. Experience of working outdoors in all weathers, grounds maintenance and dealing with the general public are essential. The ideal candidate will have a range of qualifications commensurate with experience. Knowledge of the Test Valley area would be an advantage but not essential.

To be suitable for the post of Grounds Maintenance Operative it is desirable that you have a current clean driving licence with entitlement to drive vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes and tow a trailer over 750kg.

We are currently looking for a Street Cleansing Operative to join our busy Street Scene business unit in Andover.

To be suitable for this post it is essential that you have a current clean driving licence.

For this position experience of working outdoors in all weathers, dealing with the general public and working as part of a team is essential. A knowledge of street cleansing and of the Test Valley area would be an advantage but not essential.

In return we offer a competitive salary, good terms and conditions, uniform and the option to join the Superannuation pension scheme.

To undertake street cleaning duties and other associated street scene functions across the Test Valley area, Using a Vehicle up to 7.5 Tonnes.
