Biography - Councillor Linda Lashbrook, Mayor of Test Valley 2026/27
Who is Mayor Linda Lashbrook.
I am Mother to a son and daughter, wife to Phil, who is also a Borough Councillor and past Mayor.
Many years ago, we lived in London’s Kensington and worked in the West End, before moving and ultimately settling here in Hampshire.
I have had careers in motherhood, sponsorship, management and IT.
Music, photography, sewing and travel are my hobbies.
First elected in 2019, I represent Charlton and the Pentons.
Phil and I have worked very hard to protect our unique countryside and peaceful way of life.
I currently serve on Planning, Licensing and as Deputy Chairman of the Audit Committee.
It is an honour and privilege to be elected and serve as one of your last Test Valley Borough Mayors before the Local Government Reorganisation.
The Mayoralty is a very important part of our English traditions and identity. I believe it defines who and what we are.
I am very much looking forward to representing our delightful Borough during my civic year and I hope to meet many fellow Test Valley citizens, support and encourage local businesses, enjoy and encourage local arts and culture and support local charities and voluntary groups.
