Wellbeing Walks - Step this way for a Healthier Future

All walks in the south of the borough have now restarted.

We are currently offering walks on alternate Tuesdays in Andover; commencing Tuesday 4 January 2022 and alternate Fridays in Stockbridge; commencing Friday 7 January 2022. Please contact Andrea Harris for more details and to book on to these walks.

Walking is a great way to keep active and healthy and is fast becoming a social event that can help you to meet people.

Wellbeing Walks enable you to see the beautiful countryside, landscapes, towns and villages in Test Valley whilst taking in fresh air and exercise at the same time!

Wellbeing Walks are aimed at all fitness levels but particularly those people who do little physical activity or those who are recovering from ill health.  Shorter walks are offered as an incentive for those not ready to complete the full distance of approximately 2.5 miles.

They are run by a  team of trained Volunteer Walk Leaders who motivate and encourage all walkers to keep walking and they recognise that everyone has different levels of fitness, needs and abilities.

All walks are approximately 2.5 miles and take around one hour.  Please ensure you wear sensible shoes, bring sun protection and a drink.

For details of your nearest walk please email: wellbeingwalks@testvalley.gov.uk or call 01264 368000

Walks rely on the support that we receive from our local Volunteer Walk Leaders and we are always looking for more volunteers to join our team to continue this highly successful Scheme.

If you are interested in joining us on a Wellbeing Walk or becoming a Walk Leader please contact Andrea Harris or Louisa Rice:
