We work in partnership with volunteer groups and contractors to manage the site. The Anton River Conservation Association (TARCA) play a fundamental role in the management and enhancement of the site. The conservation group was spawned from an interest in The River Anton Enhancement Scheme. The group's work parties have become a regular sight throughout the River Anton.
Rooksbury Mill is one of the sites to undertake the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust’s chalk stream challenge, an educational activity aimed at groups for young people such as Guides and Scouts.
