Romsey's Waterways and Wetlands
The town of Romsey owes much of its character and charm to the presence of the River Test and the other watercourses and wetlands in and around the town. A number of organisations have come together as a partnership to discuss how these important features can be improved for the benefit of people and wildlife.
The partnership has prepared the Strategy based on feedback from local communities about the issues they felt were important to the town. It was approved by the Council in April 2013. It will help coordinate existing projects and funding and maximise the use of future resources to improve Romsey’s waterways.
