North Baddesley Ward Profile

INTRODUCTION

Ward profiles have been developed for each of the 24 ward areas in Test Valley. The profiles aim to provide consistent information about local communities across the borough. It is hoped that these profiles will allow a greater understanding of your local area and help to identify priorities for the community.

'Ward' is a term used by the Council and other public sector bodies to define an area. Each ward has at least one Borough Councillor who has been elected by the people who live in that ward to represent their views.


NORTH BADDESLEY

The ward of North Baddesley covers 794 hectares in the south-east of Test Valley, between Valley Park to the east and the town of Romsey to the west.


The main residential area in the ward is in the south-western corner. The remainder of the ward is dominated by countryside with a few houses and small hamlets.

North Baddesley is a well established and close community with many different people living in the ward and communing together through support groups and local sport and activity clubs.
