Freedom of Information Request

Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 any person can exercise their right to request any information that they believe to be held by the Council. You do not have to explain why you would like this information but may choose to volunteer your reasons. Request for information must be made in writing, including Email or fax and you must supply a name and address for the Council to reply to your requests.

Responses to Freedom of Information Requests, Environmental Information Requests and Subject Access Requests may be delayed as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic. The Information Commissioner has advised that whilst statutory timescales cannot be extended, she will advise requesters that they may experience understandable delays when making information rights requests during the pandemic.
