Test Valley Borough Council’s 16th Community Woodfair will take place on Saturday, 3 September at Zionshill Copse Local Nature Reserve, Chandler’s Ford.

Visitors will be able to watch a whole host of fantastic demonstrations from falconry and chainsaw artistry to woodland crafts. The event will be a great opportunity to celebrate nature by taking part in conservation activities, bush craft and much more. And there will be lots on offer for the younger members of the family, including face painting, children’s workshops and story telling

The Woodfair is open from 10am to 5pm and entry is free. A small fee may apply to some of the activities.

Community and leisure portfolio holder, Councillor Tony Ward, said: “The Woodfair is such a great event and a wonderful opportunity to celebrate nature and the traditions, trades and tales that have been inspired by it. It is always fantastic day for all the family, so make sure you pop it in the diary.”
