Broadband and breakfast

Businesses on Walworth and Portway Business Parks are invited to attend two upcoming breakfast meetings to find out more about Virgin Media Business’s ultrafast broadband rollout at the two sites.

Businesses on Walworth and Portway Business Parks are invited to attend two upcoming breakfast meetings to find out more about Virgin Media Business’s ultrafast broadband rollout at the two sites.

Representatives from Test Valley Borough Council and Virgin Media Business will be hosting meetings from 7.30am to 9.30am at Andover Town Football Club, West Portway, on Wednesday 26 October and the marketing suite at Walworth Enterprise Centre, Walworth Business Park, on Thursday 27 October. They will provide further information about their aim to provide businesses located on both parks with access to ultrafast broadband by the end of the year.

Economic Portfolio Holder, Councillor Peter Giddings, said: “Having access to ultrafast internet is absolutely vital for businesses. The breakfast meetings are a chance for businesses to find out more about ultrafast broadband and the difference it could make to their staff and the services they offer. This is a great opportunity to speak to Virgin Media Business directly, so I would urge anyone who is interested to come along.”

Refreshments and bacon sandwiches will be provided. Anyone who wishes to attend is asked to email Economic Development Officer, David Gleave, at dgleave@testvalley.gov.uk for catering purposes.
