German flag to fly above Guildhall to welcome visitors

Andover will welcome a number of visitors from Goch in Germany today as part of its town twinning partnership with the area.

Andover will welcome a number of visitors from Goch in Germany on Thursday 13 October as part of its town twinning partnership with the area.

The visitors will spend a week touring Andover and the surrounding villages and visiting a variety of local attractions. To mark the visit, Test Valley Borough Council will fly the German flag from Andover Guildhall from Thursday 13 to Monday 17 October.

Leader of Test Valley Borough Council, Councillor Ian Carr, said: “I wish to extend a very warm welcome to our friends from Goch. Test Valley is such a beautiful part of the country, so I’m delighted that they will have the opportunity to spend some time exploring the area and all it has to offer.”
