Andover welcomed a number of visitors from across the pond this week as part of its town twinning partnership with Andover Massachusetts.
Twelve members of the Andover Sister Towns Association arrived in the UK on Tuesday 6 September and will spend a week touring Andover and the surrounding areas and visiting a variety of local attractions. To mark the visit, Test Valley Borough Council will fly the American flag from Andover Guildhall.
Leader of Test Valley Borough Council, Councillor Ian Carr, said: “I would like to offer a warm welcome to our friends from Andover Massachusetts and hope they enjoy their stay. We have developed a valuable and lasting relationship with the Andover Sister Towns Association and look forward to this continuing.”
