New Recycling Stars Supporter

Simplyhealth encourages people to recycle more

Simplyhealth has become the first business in Test Valley to sign up as an official Recycling Stars Supporter.

As part of Test Valley Borough Council’s Recycling Stars initiative, Simplyhealth has pledged to encourage people to recycle more, to spread the word about the benefits of recycling and to waste less.

Environmental Portfolio Holder, Councillor Graham Stallard, said: “I’m delighted that Simplyhealth has become an official Recycling Stars Supporter. This partnership marks the start of a drive to work with more of the borough’s large employers to help us to spread the recycling message to as many residents as possible.”

Alie Paxton from Simplyhealth, said: “We are committed to promoting the benefits of recycling to our staff and we look forward to working with the Council on this initiative to encourage people to waste less and recycle more.”

Recycling Stars Supporters are provided with a range of materials including posters and news articles so they can actively encourage people to recycle more and waste less. Parish Councils, schools and other groups and organisations are also invited to join in.
