Ditsy’s Home Help brings compassionate care to Andover, supported by council grant
Andover resident Suzanne Glew has launched Ditsy’s Home Help, a new business offering tailored support to people who need a bit of extra help with everyday tasks. Her services include picking up shopping and prescriptions, providing companionship and transport to appointments.
Suzanne received a £750 Business Incentive Grant from Test Valley Borough Council to help get started. She was signposted to the grant from IncuHive - the council’s Small Business Service - and she’s already building a growing client base. She is building up invaluable relationships with regular clients and provides transport for residents at Andover Nursing Home.
Suzanne said: "Launching Ditsy’s Home Help has been a rewarding experience. The support from Test Valley Borough Council has given me the opportunity to invest in training and shape a service that responds to what people really need. I’m proud to offer compassionate, reliable care and excited to see the business grow."
Winton ward Councillor Alexander Gillies said: "Suzanne has built a business that meets a real need in our local community. We’re pleased to support her through the Business Incentive Grant and wish her every success as she continues to grow Ditsy’s Home Help."
