Full Moon Animal Services receives council grant to support growth

A local animal care business is set to expand its services after receiving a £750 Business Incentive Grant from Test Valley Borough Council.

Full Moon Animal Services, run by Ronnie Hunter, provides pet sitting and dog walking services across the local area. Ronnie has extensive experience working with animals, including roles in zoo environments and at the Hawk Conservancy Trust.

Since launching the business, Ronnie has steadily built a loyal customer base, with much of her work coming through word-of-mouth recommendations. The grant funding will be used to purchase additional equipment needed to support the continued growth of the business and help Ronnie meet increasing demand.

Ronnie Hunter said: "The support from Test Valley Borough Council has given me a fantastic start to building Full Moon Animal Services. It's helping me turn years of experience and a passion for animals into a business of my own, and I'm really excited to see where it goes."

St Mary’s ward councillor Jan Budzynski, said: "It's always encouraging to see local residents turning their skills and experience into successful businesses. Ronnie's passion for animal welfare and dedication to providing a high-quality service are clear, and I wish her every success for the future."

Test Valley Borough Council is committed to supporting local businesses through various initiatives and grants. The Business Incentive Grant is designed to help new businesses located in Test Valley achieve their goals and contribute to the local economy. You must apply for the grant within eight weeks of starting to trade, and the council will award the money once you have been up and running for a minimum of six months.
