CIL Implementation
The CIL Charging Schedule was adopted on the 27th January 2016 and can be viewed below.
The Council implemented CIL on the 1st August 2016. Any applications determined on or after this date may be subject to a CIL charge.
Following the Examination into the Council’s Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) Charging Schedule in May 2015, the Council received the CIL Inspector’s report on 21 December 2015. The Inspector concluded that the charges proposed in the Test Valley Borough Council CIL Charging Schedule are appropriate and financially viable, and that the Charging Schedule should be approved, subject to modifications.

The Council meeting of the 27th January 2016 adopted the CIL Charging Schedule and agreed that it would be implemented as soon as practicable after the 1st July 2016.
