Planning Policy Guidance
There are a number of policy documents that have been formally approved as guidance by the Council, but do not have Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) status nor form part of the Local Development Framework (LDF). Many of the below documents fall within this category and all may be relevant when considering planning applications:

North Solent Shoreline Management Plan
The Council has endorsed the North Solent Shoreline Management Plan, which provides the strategic policy approach for the management of the coast between Hurst Spit and Selsey Bill. The North Solent Shoreline Management Plan is not a planning document but may be a material consideration.
Walworth Business Park Planning Advice Note
The Council has prepared a Planning Guidance Note for the Walworth Business Park, including land to the east allocated as an extension. The broad principles apply to all business parks and industrial estates and all other employment sites and premises throughout the Borough.
It sets guidance on the control of charges of use of land premises and set out the process and justification needed in order to comply with relevant planning policies. It was approved by the Cabinet on 17 February 2010.
The Council is actively progressing a long term strategy to rejuvenate the Walworth Business Park through a joint venture arrangement with a private sector partner.
Walworth Extension Land Planning Position Statement
The Council has prepared Walworth Extension Land Planning Position Statement which was approved at Cabinet on 20th May 2015. The purpose of this statement is to help inform future development proposals on the allocated land to the east of Walworth Business Park, Andover.
Revised Local Plan Policy COM7: Affordable Housing – Planning Advice Note
The Council has prepared a Planning Advice Note, which sets out the justification for seeking affordable housing financial contributions and the methodology by which contributions will be secured. This relates to the requirements of policy COM7 of the adopted Local Plan.
It also sets out the Council's approach to implementing the policy following the publication of the National Planning Practice Guidance (NPPG) on 19th May 2016 regarding circumstances where tariff style and affordable housing contributions should not be sought.
The Planning Advice Note is intended as an interim advice note while the Council prepares an updated Affordable Housing Supplementary Planning Document.
