Community Clean Ups
If you would like to arrange a Community Clean Up, we advise that you carry out a risk assessment. If you do not have your own form, you can use the Risk Assessment Form listed below. Please also read the Safety Guidance Note and the Health and Safety Checklist which highlights safety information to help you and your group whilst litter picking.

Volunteers should not participate in litter picks unless they understand and accept that participation is entirely at their own risk. Volunteers are not working for, or on behalf of Test Valley Borough Council and therefore the Council cannot be held liable for any loss, damage or injury caused as a result of the actions and omissions of volunteers.
If you are concerned about insurance then please feel free to visit the 'My Community Starter' website which gives you information about suitable insurance to cover you for such tasks.
