Leoni Roberts (she/her) – Policy officer
After college I went to UCL and studied BA History, then MA US History and Politics. My role at Test Valley is my first full-time position.
The thing I enjoy most about working at Test Valley Borough Council is the variety. Whether I’m researching at my desk, doing engagement work, or visiting other services to help them deliver, no two days are the same. Coming in at a close second would be the people. Everyone is so generous with their time, supportive and fun.
I’ve had the opportunity to attend an array of training sessions, both in person and online. I completed an accredited Mental Health First Aid course, which, while not essential to my role, gave me a number of skills to help those around me in the workplace and my personal life. I also went to London to a conference on reporting equality data, which helped me complete TVBC’s reporting earlier this year.
