Annual Parking Report
Test Valley Borough Council produce an Annual Report in accordance with the guidance to Local Authorities contained within Chapter 4 to the Department for Transport’s, ‘Civil Enforcement Operational Guidance to Local Authorities’ published in March 2008. You can find the reports below.
The annual surplus on the Council’s parking account is spent on improving or maintaining the appearance and amenity of open land and water to which the general public has access, such as playgrounds, urban parks and open spaces, outdoor sports facilities and nature reserves. The council is a member of the Parking and Traffic Regulations Outside London (PATROL) Adjudication Joint Committee. The Joint Committee publishes an Annual Statement of Accounts which is subject to External Audit.
Local authorities are required to publish an annual, estimated update on the number of marked-out controlled on- and off-street parking spaces within the borough. The figure for the estimated on-street controlled parking spaces is 1,450. The figure for the number of off-street parking spaces is 3,187. There are also 37 off-street spaces for motorcycles.
