Interim support for households using heating oil
The Government has announced new funding to support vulnerable low-income households who are facing immediate financial difficulties due to increased heating oil prices. In this area, the funding has been given to Hampshire County Council.
Hampshire County Council is preparing a scheme to help those households most affected and the scheme will be launched on the 1 April 2026. Full details will be published on the Connect4Communities website.
Urgent support
If you are currently without heating or hot water, or at significant risk of losing access to either because you have run out of heating oil, please contact your local Citizens Advice office as soon as possible. They will be able to discuss immediate support options with you and provide guidance on any assistance that may be available.
