Use of Logos
If you have received a grant from us, the terms and conditions of that grant may require you to display logos on your printed materials, website or on your site.
Our logo can be found here Corporate Logo | Test Valley Borough Council
If your grant was funded by central Government, the terms and conditions of that grant may require you to display the “Funded by UK Government” logo in addition to the TVBC logo. The logo and guidance are in the links on this page.
The rules on the Funded by UK Government depend on how much of your total project cost was provided by central Government.
In general, placement of the Funded by UK Government logo on printed documents and websites is as follows:
- If Government funding was between 10% and 50% of the total project costs, then the logo can be placed bottom right alongside other logos.
- If Government funding was 50% of the total project costs, then the logo must be placed at the top with other logos to its left.
- If Government funding was more than 50% of the total project costs, then the logo must be placed at the top left with other logos at the foot.
Websites about the project must include the text ‘This project was [funded/part-funded] by the UK government.’
For a large infrastructure project which was at least 10% funded by Central Government, a plaque must be put up within three months of the completion of the project. It should be a minimum size of 250mm x 200mm and display the Funded by UK Government logo with placement depending on the level of funding as above. It should say what the project is, and it could contain information about how or when the facility was opened.
