Creative Recovery Commissions’

The cultural recovery commissions are designed as outcome of the Test Valley Creative October event series and are focused around cultural recovery for artists following the pandemic. The 6 cultural recovery commissions are a collection of creative opportunities for artists to put refreshed skills, confidence and partnerships into practise. They are designed in partnership with the cultural sector of the Test Valley to invest in our own creative workforce for the benefit of our communities. The overall aim that connect the commissions is that they enable artistic collaboration, through producing work with peers or through a mentoring relationship. They all focus on creating a sense of place for Test Valley and explore how that can support wellbeing for the benefit of our communities.

The six new commissions are listed below, please click on the documents on the right for details of how to apply.
