Fishing at Foxcotte Lake
Foxcotte Lake is river-fed and covers 1.3 hectares (3.2 acres). It offers 25 swims, a number of which are Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) compliant and positioned close to the car park, accessed via level paths.

Species caught here include:
- tench
- roach
- rudd
- perch
- bream
- pike
- carp
In December 2022 the lake received an input of 2500 fish from the Environment Agency consisting of a combination of tench, crucian carp, roach and rudd. Carp can be caught up to 16lb with pike up to 20lb.
This a catch and release site with all fish to be returned to the water at the end of a fishing session.
Paying to fish at Foxcotte Lake
To fish at Foxcotte Lake, you’ll need a national fishing rod licence[IS1] and to purchase a day or season ticket.
Day tickets are not available on the bank.
