New Renters' Rights Act

The Renters’ Rights Act received Royal Assent and became law in October 2025, bringing major changes to the private rented sector in England.

Key reforms 

โœ… Ending Section 21 ‘no-fault’ evictions
๐Ÿ“… All tenancies becoming periodic
๐Ÿ’ฐ Limits on rent increases (once per year)
๐Ÿ›ก๏ธ Stronger tenant rights and property standards
๐Ÿ“‹ Mandatory landlord registration and Ombudsman scheme

These reforms aim to improve fairness, security and transparency for everyone involved. We will share more updates when implementation dates are confirmed.
