Daniel Hallett receives £750 Business Incentive Grant

Young boss of Simplicity Pet Cremations receives grant

Test Valley Borough Council has awarded one of its youngest applicants a £750 Business Incentive Grant.

Daniel Hallett received the grant when he was just 19 years old. Now 20, Daniel is the established owner of Simplicity Pet Cremations and his dedication and commitment to providing pet owners with a quality, personalised service has seen him become one of the Council’s youngest successful grant recipients.

Simplicity Pet Cremations is based in Stoneham, near Chilworth, where Daniel lives. Ward member for Chilworth, Nursling and Rownhams, Councillor Alison Finlay, presented the cheque and said: “It is incredibly refreshing to see such a young recipient work hard to qualify for the Business Incentive Grant. Daniel is professional, hard-working and completely understands the needs of his customers. I wish him the very best of luck in his venture.”

Daniel added: “I am pleased that I took the plunge to launch my own business. It requires a lot of time and dedication but it's an incredibly rewarding experience."

The Council’s Business Incentive Grants are available to anyone looking to set up their own business in Test Valley. Anyone who successfully applies for the grant will receive a grant of £750 if their business is still going strong six months later.
