Enham Trust’s Training Kitchen receives Councillor Community Grant
A project that helps provide independent living skills to disabled people has been given a £1,000 boost. Andover’s Enham Trust has been awarded the funds through a Test Valley Borough Council Councillor Community Grant. The money will enable the continuation of the Training Kitchen project, launched in August 2017.
The Training kitchen is a fully accessible kitchen, which focuses on providing life skills to disabled people. The main aims are to learn basic cooking skills to increase independence, explore new recipes and increase knowledge about healthy eating. It also provides an essential space for socialisation and a chance for individuals to explore their creativity in a safe and supportive environment.

“The work that The Enham Trust do is truly inspiring to all and, most importantly, is life changing for those who are supported by the trust. I am proud that Test Valley Borough Council has sponsored this brilliant project, which will help people in Andover build confidence and gain independence through learning.”
