Have your say in the future of Andover town centre

Members of the public are invited to take a look at the emerging vision and masterplan for Andover town centre at a drop-in shop next month.

HemingwayDesign and NEW Masterplanning are working closely with Test Valley Borough Council to develop a long-term vision for the future of the town.  As plans progress, the project team has secured a vacant shop unit, on a short term lease, at 4 Bridge Street where members of the public will be able to view current proposals and share their thoughts.

Running from 11 until 15 December the drop-in shop will showcase ideas that have been developed as a result of feedback from nearly 3,000 survey participants, including Andover residents, workers and students.  The team will continue to work closely with local residents and businesses throughout the project to draw on suggestions and feedback to inform a masterplan for Andover town centre.

Lora White at NEW Masterplanning said: “Following a fantastic response to our initial town centre survey, we have been busy developing plans for Andover town centre. The drop-in shop will be the perfect opportunity for everyone to take a look at our vision for Andover and share their thoughts. We and council officers will be on hand to answer any questions and look forward to hearing visitors’ feedback.”

The drop in shop will be open from Wednesday 11 to Saturday 14 December, 10am -5pm and Sunday 15 December 10am – 3pm.
