Creative content business in Andover grows with support of council grant
A creative content business called Electric Bloom Ltd based in Andover has received a £750 Business Incentive Grant from Test Valley Borough Council to support its continued growth.
Electric Bloom Ltd was founded by Lauren McManus, the business has long-standing contacts from the IT and telecoms industries and is now taking on a wider variety of projects, including event-based content creation.
Lauren said: “Thanks to the support from Test Valley Borough Council, I have been able to grow Electric Bloom in exciting new directions. I’ve launched a new website and introduced a second division that focuses on creative content for weddings and events. While our main work remains with corporate clients in the IT, telecoms, and plumbing industries, this expansion allows us to showcase our creativity across a broader range of projects.”
Lauren applied for the Business Incentive Grant after hearing about it at a business fair at The Lights. She previously worked in the telecoms industry and spent two years freelancing before launching Electric Bloom Ltd.

The Business Incentive Grant is designed to give new businesses a helping hand, and Lauren’s progress shows just how valuable that support can be.”
Test Valley Borough Council is committed to supporting local businesses through various initiatives and grants. The Business Incentive Grant is designed to help new businesses located in Test Valley achieve their goals and contribute to the local economy. You must apply for the grant within eight weeks of starting to trade, and the Council will award the money once you have been up and running for a minimum of six months.
