Local beauty business a glow with a £750 grant from the council
A local beauty business in North Baddesley has received a £750 boost from Test Valley Borough Council’s business incentive grant scheme.
Beauty at 15, founded by Julie Brown, has been awarded the grant to support the growth of her new venture. Since launching she has thrown herself into developing her skills and services, recently completing an Advanced Microblading course and training in Eyelash Lifting. The grant will help cover the cost of the microblading training, allowing her to expand her offerings and continue delivering high-quality treatments to her clients.
Julie said: “I’m so glad I took the leap to start my own business. I’ve invested a lot in training to make sure I’m offering the best possible service, and this grant from the council is a huge help in covering some of those costs. I’m grateful for the support.”
North Baddesley Ward, Councillor Amanda Ford, said: “We’re delighted to support Beauty at 15 through our business incentive grant scheme and I wish Julie all the best. I have already been for a treatment and supporting entrepreneurs like this helps strengthen our local economy and community.”
