Street eats and local treats: Taste of Test Valley returns

On Sunday 28 September, Andover High Street will host a delicious day of discovery as Taste of Test Valley returns for its second year.

Organised by Test Valley Borough Council, this free, family-friendly festival brings together the best of the borough’s independent producers - from artisan bakers and small-batch brewers to sizzling street food vendors and craft drink makers.

But it’s not just about what’s on your plate. With live music from local performers and free entertainment for children, it’s a great day out for all ages.

Leader of the Council, Councillor Phil North, said: “This is a wonderful way to celebrate the fantastic producers and independent makers we have right here on our doorstep. It’s a chance to enjoy brilliant food and drink, whilst supporting local businesses. I’d encourage everyone to come along, meet the makers, and enjoy a fantastic day out in Andover.”

Taste of Test Valley sits alongside the town’s monthly Second Sundays market, offering regular opportunities to shop small, eat well and connect with the people behind the produce. Whether you’re sipping locally roasted coffee, picking up handmade chutneys or chatting with a cheesemaker, every purchase helps build a stronger, more resilient local economy.

Mark your calendars and join us in celebrating the flavours of the region. Come hungry, leave inspired, and take a little piece of Test Valley home with you.
