Winter Wellbeing Fair returns to Andover this November
Residents are invited to discover local support, activities and advice for staying healthy and connected this winter as the Winter Wellbeing Fair returns to Andover on Thursday 5 November from 10am to 1pm.
Held in the central area of the Chantry Centre, the pop-up marketplace will bring together organisations offering support on everything from physical activity and healthy ageing to social connection and access to local community services.
Visitors can meet local organisations, explore the services available and learn more about support across the borough. Whether you're looking to become more active, improve your wellbeing, spend more time outdoors, access practical advice or connect with others in your community, there will be something for everyone.
Organisations attending this year's fair include Places Leisure, Citizens Advice, Be Active Hampshire, delivered by Thrive Tribe, Test Valley Borough Council's health walks team, Andover Primary Care Network's social prescribers, Andover Trees United, Valley Leisure and I Can Move More, Alcoholics Anonymous, Live Longer Better, Home Instead Marlborough and Test Valley, Hampshire County Council's fostering services team, Eyes Down community group for the visually impaired and Seetec.
The Winter Wellbeing Fair forms part of a programme of seasonal events that encourage residents to stay active, connected and engaged in their local community throughout the year.
Councillor Phil North, Leader of Test Valley Borough Council, said: "The Winter Wellbeing Fair is a great opportunity to discover the wide range of support, activities and services available across our communities.
"There's a huge amount of help available locally, but people don't always know where to find it. The fair brings organisations together in one place, making it easy to explore what's available, speak to people face-to-face and take away ideas that could make a real difference this winter."
The Winter Wellbeing Fair is free to attend and no booking is required. Residents can drop in at any time between 10am and 1pm on Thursday 5 November.
