Local Development Scheme (LDS)
The Local Development Scheme (LDS) sets out the approach and timetable the council will follow in the preparation and adoption of planning policy documents. The Council is required to keep the LDS up to date.
An updated Local Development Scheme was approved by the Cabinet on 15 November 2023 . The Cabinet report is available Test Valley Borough Council (see Minute 311/Item 12)and the LDS 2023 document is available under Documents.
The Council has commenced the preparation of the next Local Plan 2040. The timetable for production is provided within Appendix 1 of the LDS.
