What was the current structure of parishes and their electoral arrangements before the Review?
Romsey Town Council
The review area comprised two parishes, Romsey Town (centred on Romsey itself) and Romsey Extra (which completely encircled Romsey Town). Romsey Town had fifteen councillors, and Romsey Extra had seven. Elections are held every four years, the next being due in 2023.
Valley Park Parish Council
- Valley Park Parish comprised three wards, Valley Park (North), Valley Park (South-West) and Valley Park (South-East). The number of parish councillors for each ward was 7, 1 and 1 respectively.
All parishes have elections every four years, the next being in May 2023.
